FEES & INSURANCE

The fee for an initial interview (60 minutes) is $220 and regular (45-minute) individual psychotherapy sessions are $220 each with Dr. Gaskill. Ms. Pyankov and Ms. Lynn offer a needs-based sliding scale. If insurance will be billed for our services, your co-payment will serve as the fee. Drs. Gaskill accepts Medicare insurance. We may also accept insurance as an out-of-network provider.  Co-payment or payment is accepted by cash, check, or credit card at the time of service. Psychotherapy is an allowable expense for your Health Spending or Flexible Spending Accounts.

Prior to our first session you should find out the following from your insurance provider:

-Whether you have mental health coverage through your insurance plan

-If you have a deductible and if it has been met

-How many sessions your health plan covers

-How much you will be reimbursed if you pay out of pocket

-If you need pre-approval from your primary care physician

STANDARD NOTICE

“Right to Receive a Good Faith Estimate of Expected Charges” Under the No Surprises Act

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes  related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (484)679-6299. You can also visit: https://www.insurance.pa.gov/Coverage/health-insurance/no-surprises-act/Pages/default.aspx
